We are pleased to announce that one of the SSACAB II fellows, Ildephonse NIZEYIMANA, has been selected by the Science for Africa Foundation (SFA Foundation) for an Individual Policy Exchange Programme (iPEP) travel grant. This grant will support his participation in a policy exchange programme at The Uganda National Institute of Public Health (UNIPH) for two weeks between February and March 2025.
The grant will cover all travel and accommodation costs for the duration of the two weeks. iPEP is a two-tiered, two-way exchange program designed to facilitate collaboration between researchers and policymakers. Offering up to two weeks of in-person engagement within Africa for each pairing through hybrid engagements. The goal is to create 140 individual policy exchange opportunities across Africa to directly translate research outputs into policy, fostering close dialogue between the science and policy sectors.
Congratulations Ildephonse on this well-deserved recognition.
